I was visiting Mr. Wong and saw this lovely 1625 Turn O Graph aka Thunderbird in the rare blue dial. Most of the blue dial during that era were often damaged by its natural discoloration of dial. Lucky, this dial discoloration is only very minimal. This is my second 1625 as previously I have one in white gold and in silver dial. I have traded it plus cash for a rolex 6610 Explorer many years back.

Rolex 8171 coming auction
Coming auction at Antiquorum
Often referred to as the "Padellone" (the Italian word for frying pan), the reference 8171 is one of the most coveted vintage Rolex watches on the market. At 38 mm, its dial was substantially larger than other models at the time.
Rolex created a name for itself by creating excellent sports watches. As such, triple calendars with moon phases have rarely made an appearance in the firm's history. In fact, Rolex made only two watches with moon phases: the Reference 8171 with the snap-on case back, and the Reference 6062, an Oyster model with a screw-down case back. The firm produced the 8171 for only three years, during 1949-1952.

Rolex 1603 Bamboo bezel Datejust
I have been looking for the 1603 bamboo bezel for a while. Originally, I have seen one at Sheung Wan vintage watch shop but the seller wanted to keep it. I have seen another at TST but the price is very high. After some searching, I have finally found the Rolex Datejust
ref 1603 with a very rare Bamboo Bezel at a reasonable price. According to Osvaldo
Patrizzi ’s book, this model has been produced for 1 year only, exclusively
for the Italian Market. The watch dial has aged gracefully with a nice light patina...
One down, 3 to go for 2018....
At certain angles, the patina looks pinkish..

Voit Diver watch ebay
This is a nice condition Voit. Vintage watch is a good investment. Looking at the prices, I am glad that I didn't sell my Voit diver watch (or should I say Sold but returned) as it is extremely rare as these are small micro watch produced for special usage.
Voit Diver revisited
I am not an expert in vintage Voit diver watches. Some so called
expert has commented that my Voit Diver watch "bezel" is not original
as it has a DOT at 12 o'clock position instead of the usual crown. I didn't
want to argue as I am not an expert.
These are the regular bezel (photos from the net)
I was browsing through the internet one day and I found the old
advertisement for VOIT diver watches and guess what...The old advertisement has
model with the same bezel as mine watch.
Looking
through the net, there are also examples:
