Buying gold

Yesterday, as a result of the fallen gold prices, I have acquired a solid gold from the gold shop as a form of diversification in investment. I didn't know that solid gold can be so heavy and "cute". Perhaps, is about time I try to collect some gold as investment?

Rolex Crown

Just managed to find a new old stock Rolex crown winder for my watch. Waiting eagerly for it to arrive...

Rolex 1655 Explorer 2

I have sent my Rolex Explorer 2 to the Rolex center many weeks ago and I was supposed to collect today. In my effort to preserve the MK2 dial and in its original conditions, I have told Rolex center to only do a simple service without polishing on changing of parts.

However, I was told by RC that one of the dial legs was broken. As such, their recommendation is to change a new old stock dial. Under this circumstances, I have asked for a complete transformation instead by changing the dial, hands, as well as the bezel. Perhaps this is a good option to have a complete transformation?!

Patek Philipp 3445

I have been lucky to have found the Patek Philipp 3445 white gold early.,

I am a complete fool who does not know how to invest in stocks and shares. As a result, i have not suffered any losses during the stocks market crashes. Instead, I have been actively buying vintage watches during that time instead.

Basing on the latest Sotheby's results, I can see that the PP 3445 prices have increased by nearly 30% , which is not a bad investment given the relatively high return of capital...

Early vintage 1920-30s

My vintage doctor's watch and Rolex Octagonal oyster have just returned from the service. These early watches are classic its own way and unfortunately, are now being neglected by collectors who are chasing after the sports models. The positive aspect is that these watches have become very affordable since the collectors are not chasing after these watches, which make logical sense for us to start collecting now.
