ཞơƖɛҳ ℘ıŋƙ ɠơƖɖ ąŋɖ ʂɬɛɛƖ ɖąɬɛ ʝųʂɬ

ıɬ has been estimated that there is only one steel and 18k rose gold Datejust model 1601 for every 5,000 steel or steel and yellow gold models. I am not a great fan of the Datejust model but the challenge of getting a Rose gold and steel has excited me.

I am in the process of getting an original stainless steel and 14k rose gold case with the characteristic raised plastic crystal that gives the 1601 its unique profile. The watch has an Original 18k rose gold fluted bezel and screw down crown and ῳıɬɧ ʂıƙ۷ɛཞ Sigma dial with applied rose gold hour markers, gold baton hands and date display at 3’oclock. ı ɧąve promised myself not to get any new acquisition unless I am able to sell away some in order to keep the number of vintage watches down which make the hunt process a further challenge.

The watch has the automatic winding Rolex 1570 Caliber with 26 jewels, adjusted to temperature and in 5 positions. Movement is clean and running. This is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.  Rolex Jubilee bracelet with steel and rose gold links and folding clasp. Waiting for its arrivals not Tuesday...
